SBI State Bank of India has release notification for application of candidates for position of Defence Banking advisor and Economist. There are total 3 vacancies for the mentioned post. Initial recruitment will be done for 2 years. All shortlisted candidates will be called for interview process as mentioned in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2024 selected candidates will be placed in Mumbai and Delhi.
As per official notification the maximum eligible age will be 62 years for Defense Banking Advisor and for Economist it will be 28 years. The selected candidates will be given salary up to 34 + lakhs per annum.

Qualification
Defense Banking advisor
- Experience candidates must be Retired in Rank of lieutenant General or above from the Indian army
Economist
- candidate should have master degree in Economics/ Econometrics/Statistics / Applied statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/Financial Economics with minimum of 60 % or equivalent grade from recognized university. If certificate or marksheet has CGPA or similar grading pattern then candidate has to convert from CGPA to Percentage in original from university
- Candidates having PHD degree in Economics /Banking/ Finance/Statistics/ Mathematics will be given preferences.
Age Limit
Economist
- The minimum Age is 22 years
- The maximum Age is 28 years
Defence Baking Advisor
- The maximum Age is 62 years
